Zoe Ball cuts a sophisticated figure in all-black ensemble for Rain Stops Play screening

She previously revealed she is often in bed for 10pm in order to get up early to present her BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show.

But Zoe Ball enjoyed a late night on Wednesday as she attended the Rain Stops Play film premiere in London.

The BBC Radio 2 presenter, 48, showed her support to her pal Mika Simmons who made her directorial debut at the private screening.

Zoe cut a sophisticated figure in her all-black ensemble, layering a tailored coat atop of a cosy polo neck knit.

Comfort - Feet - Pair - Chunky - Trainers

She opted for comfort on her feet with a pair of chunky trainers and tied her blonde hair back in a loose ponytail.

The Strictly It Takes Two host posed with Mika, who looked stylish in a hot pink trouser suit.

Rain - Stops - Play - Day - Comedy

Rain Stops Play is about a modern day comedy of errors, and is a British short film starring Tara Fitzgerald, Imogen Waterhouse and Joe McGann.

Zoe had her first day presenting on Radio 2 last month where she was joined in studio by actor John Cleese and The Great British Bake-Off winner Nadiya Hussain.
