Gillian Anderson starred in a very raunchy, outtake from Netflix's hit series Sex Education, which was shared via Twitter on Monday.

The actress, 50, starred in a clip where she performed a sex act on a courgette while in character as sex-therapist mum Jean Milburn.

Show - Jean - Occupation - Front - Son

In the show, Jean's occupation is revealed in front of her son Otis' whole class by the school bully Adam Groff, after he found the video clip while visiting Otis' home.

The hilarious clip sees a youthful Gillian showing off her 'technique' to viewers, as she gives them advise on how best to perform the act.

Partner - Groans - Whimpers - Roadmap - Pleasure

'Your partner’s groans and whimpers are the roadmap to his pleasure,' she says as she goes through the steps with viewers.

Once complete, she says that those watching should 'give yourself a pat on the back', before hilariously picking up a tomato as the clip ends.

Twitter - Clip - 'Should - Tomato

Taking to her Twitter to joke about the clip, Gillian cheekily wrote: 'Should have seen what I did with the tomato.'

The raunchy video comes after Netflix confirmed that the series has been renewed for a second season.

Show - Asa - Butterfield - Jean - Son

The popular show also stars Asa Butterfield, 21, as Jean's son, a socially awkward pupil who teams up with street smart Maeve, played by Emma Mackey, to create a sex therapy clinic at their school.

There's plenty of nudity and blunt examination of everything from same-sex love, abortion and wet dreams. Netflix itself describes the show as 'heartfelt, raunchy and irreverent.'

Streaming - Service - Series - Course - Households

The streaming service, which previously said the series is on course to be watched by 40 million households since it's release earlier this month, announced on Friday that the show will return for a further eight episodes.

Alongside Gillian and Asa, breakout stars Ncuti Gatwa, Aimee-Lou Wood, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Tanya Reynolds and Patricia Allison are all set to...
