She's received her seventh Academy Award nomination for her leading role in the drama The Wife.

And after attending the annual Oscar nominees luncheon on Monday, Glenn Close headed to the AARP's Movies for Grownups Awards in Beverly Hills.

The actress, 71, was nominated for a best actress award at the event which recognizes films that resonate with audiences aged 50 and older.

Close is the frontrunner for Oscar glory - and finally taking home Hollywood's top prize - after scooping up every major prize so far this awards season.

Film - Wife - Writer - Jonathan - Pryce

In the film, she plays the long-suffering wife of an acclaimed writer played by Jonathan Pryce who re-evaluates her marriage after her husband is nominated for the Novel Prize for Literature.

For the AARP Awards, Close opted for a blue and white patterned pant suit and hoop earrings.

Jane - Seymour - Gala - Event

Jane Seymour, 67, was among the famous faces who showed up to support the gala event.

The former Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman star was red carpet ready in a sleeveless green dress with floral patterns.
