Two dead, two injured when Cessna crashes into California home's backyard setting two houses on fire

Two people died and two others were injured when a small aircraft crashed into a residential area in Yorba Linda, California.

Authorities said that a Cessna 414A which had recently departed from nearby Fullerton Municipal Airport in Fullerton, California, crashed in Yorba Linda on Sunday afternoon, KTLA reported.

Cessna - Backyard - Residence - Home - Flames

The Cessna is said to have crashed into the backyard of a residence at about 2pm, engulfing one two-story home in flames and littering the nearby streets with plane debris.

In a video shot by Twitter user Joshua Nelson, a man can be seen trying to use a garden hose to put out a burning piece of what appears to be the Cessna, located several houses away from the home that is on fire and billowing a thick column of smoke.
