Duchess of Cornwall launches children's story competition for the fifth year

The Duchess of Cornwall has returned as her cartoon alter-ego as she launches BBC Radio Two's annual story-writing competition.

Camilla, 71, is reimagined as a caricature of herself as she stars in a short clip promoting the children's contest.

Recognisable both by her trademark pearls and blond bouffant Camilla can be seen taking a ride on a hot air balloon above the grounds of Windsor Castle.

The royal residence will play host to the star-studded final Radio Two host Zoe Ball reveals in a voice over to the clip, which was shared on Twitter on Tuesday.

This is the fifth year that Camilla has acted as an honourary judge to the competition which was launched back in 2011 by ex Radio Two host Chris Evans.

Last year almost 135,000 children entered their 500-word masterpieces and there have been a total of 800,000 entries in total.
