Out-of-control Chow Chow dog rips off alpaca's testicles and savages a second

A Chow Chow whose owner said it 'just wanted to play' bit off the testicles of an unfortunate alpaca after breaking into its cage in Germany.

The dog was one of two that broke into the alpaca enclosure in Goeppingen, a town in the south-western state of Baden-Wuerttemberg.

The Chow Chow and the second dog, an Airedale Terrier, managed to get past the fence where six of the woolly South American alpacas live.

According to a witness alerted by the attack, the two dogs managed to tear down one of the fences.

She said that by the time she arrived at the enclosure two alpacas were already bleeding heavily having been attacked by the dogs.

After the dog owners reportedly made no effort to get their out-of-control animals out of the enclosure, the witness herself went in to try to stop the dogs.

She estimates that for about 40 minutes the dogs chased down the animals in their own enclosure.

Alpaca owner Heiner Binder said: 'It looked like a battlefield.

'The bad thing is that the women stood there for over half an hour and did not get their animals out of there.'
