Barbra Streisand and Gisele Bundchen will be honored for their commitment to environmental activism at the UCLA Institute for the Environment and Sustainibility's annual Hollywood for Science Gala.
The event will be hosted by IoES Global Fundraising Chairman Milutin Gatsby, with event co-hosts Lawrence Bender and Alexandria Jackson, according to People.

The event will take place February 21 at the private Bel Air estate of Jeanne and Tony Pritzker, which will also include a curated auction, with all proceeds supporting IoES' initiatives.
Supermodel Bundchen, 38, was named as a Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations Environment Program in 2009.

She became involved as an environmental activist following her visit with an Indian tribe in the Amazon rainforest in 2003.
'All these pesticides were going into the rivers because there were no trees to protect the rivers,' Bundchen said in an earlier interview with People. 'The fish were sick. The water was polluted. I was like, "Who is doing something about this?"'
