Dax Shepard opened up about his love of sex in the latest episode of Dr Phil's podcast Phil In The Blanks.
Warning the doctor that: 'I'm going to get really intimate here,' he admitted: 'I'd say I had what could maybe be called a sex addition at some point in my life.'
And he continued: 'Not one that I had to seek treatment for, but...'
McGraw reassured the 44-year-old, telling him: 'There are worse addictions.'

Laughing, Shepard replied: 'There are worse addictions, yes.'
Now a father-of-two, Shepard said his attitude for many years was simply: 'I would just say, "I've had sex with a lot of people. I like to do it. It's healthy. Who cares? I'm not getting diseases. I'm single. Whatever."'

But the actor, now happily married to his wife of six years, actress Kristen Bell, Shepard told Dr Phil McGraw he eventually came to realize he was reliant on intercourse to ease his emotions.
Following a fight on the telephone with a girlfriend, Dax said: 'I hung up the phone, I was driving in the car and I immediately got horny.
