There aren’t very many instances where a biopic gets a sequel, but in the case of “The Social Network,” it would appear that we are looking at a situation that might warrant one.
Released in 2010, “The Social Network” told the story of the early days of Facebook and its creator Mark Zuckerberg. And in focusing on the early days, the film came to a conclusion that might be viewed as a bit premature. Sure, the film was great and ended in a perfectly fine way, but with the recent news (mostly negative) surrounding the social media network, there seems to be plenty of fodder for a sequel. And writer Aaron Sorkin knows this.
