Kathy Griffin vows to donate awards in suit against CEO neighbor to Time's Up organization

Kathy Griffin has been engaged in a contentious legal battle over the past year with her neighbor, KB Homes CEO Jeffrey Mezger.

But now the 58-year-old comedienne is making a statement by pledging to donate $50,000 from a potential victory to the Time's Up Legal Defense Fund.


The amount she says she'll keep for herself: $1.

The stand-up and activist is making the symbolic gesture to quell any suggestion that she's just looking for an easy payday.

Kathy first came into conflict with her CEO neighbor, 63, in September, when she called the cops to make a noise complaint about his apartment.

Kathy and her boyfriend, Randy Bick, recorded the profanity- and homophobia-laden torrent from the business leader.

In the tense recordings, Mezger is heard calling her a 'bald d***,' a 'c***,' and 'a f****** a******.'

Following their showdown, the two sides each filed restraining orders, which were subsequently shot down in court.
