TOWIE's Amber Turner and Dan Edgar are 'very bitter' after their split

They revealed on Christmas Eve that they had parted ways, after a rocky on-off relationship since they had officially begun dating in May last year.

And things between Amber Turner, 25, and Dan Edgar, 28, are said to be 'very bitter' since the break up, and the pair will allegedly come face to face on the next series of TOWIE, it was revealed on Thursday.

A source told The Sun: 'Dan and Amber have barely spoken since the split, but when filming starts again in the new year, they'll be forced to come face to face and discuss the split.'

They continued: 'Things are very bitter and neither feels like they've been treated well so it's all going to kick off.

'But they have to bring their real lives and relationships on camera - that's what the show is about.'

This comes after it was revealed by the publication on Monday that the pair had called it quits days before Christmas, and just weeks after Dan's ex Kate Wright, 37, got engaged to footballer Rio Ferdinand.

They were said to be 'heartbroken', as a source told The Sun: 'Amber does love Dan so it was a really hard decision, especially so close to Christmas but they both agree it's for the best.'

They added that the pair's split was 'final' the pair's friends are hoping that they will be able to reconcile.

The news comes as a source close to the reality star claimed their 'tough time' had nothing to do with Dan's ex Kate's engagement to Rio, 40, in November.

Their engagement had reportedly caused Dan to re-think his relationship, though a source close to him has since dismissed the claims.
