Viola Davis was on hand at the 2018 Britannia Awards in Los Angeles on Friday, to honor her Widows director Steve McQueen.

Davis, 53, presented the 49-year-old with the John Schlesinger Britannia Award for Excellence in Directing at the ceremony, which took place Friday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The How To Get Away With Murder actress also hit the red carpet before the event, with her husband of 15 years, Julius Tennon, by her side.

Davis was wearing a flowing white dress that fell to the floor with a black pattern printed randomly in certain places on her dress.

She was also seen wearing unique diamond earrings, and, while walking the red carpet with her husband, she was also seen clutching a black handbag.

Davis and McQueen's new movie, Widows, has been winning rave reviews since debuting at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
