Fox News film about Roger Ailes downfall mysteriously dropped by production company before filming

The highly anticipated new film about the downfall of Roger Ailes and hsi final days at Fox News has hit a major roadblock just two weeks prior to filming is set to start on the production.

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Annapurna Pictures, the company behind films including Her , American Hustle and the upcoming If Beale Street Could Talk, has dropped the film from its slate.

Move - Producers - Financing - Distributor - Problem

That move has left producers scrambling to find financing and a distributor, though neither should be a problem thanks to the film's A-list cast.

At the same time, it was also announced that the Jennifer Lopez film The Hustlers at Scores is also parting ways with Annapurna.

Kate - McKinnon - Charlize - Theron - Nicole

Kate McKinnon, Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie have all been cast in major roles, with Kidman playing Gretchen Carlson and Robbie set to play Megyn Kelly.
