Actor James Woods was recently suspended from Twitter for doing just that, posting content that apparently violated Twitter’s terms of service. In an email, Twitter informed Woods that a meme posted on July 20 “has the potential to be misleading in a way that could impact an election.” Even though Woods posted the meme with a disclaimer, it was not enough for Twitter. He was told to delete the tweet in order to regain access to his account.
