Alexander McQueen's former wild child muse Annabelle Neilson died of natural causes at her London home, it has been confirmed.

The 49-year-old model, writer and muse - a close friend of Kate Moss - was found dead at her £3.1million pad in leafy Chelsea, west London, earlier this month.

Westminster - Coroner - Office - Today - Investigation

Westminster Coroner's Office confirmed today that an investigation has now been concluded and there would not be an inquest.

Ms Neilson's sister, Millie, previously said in a statement that Annabelle died as a result of a heart attack.

A spokesperson from Westminster Coroner's Court said: 'If we have concluded there will not need to be an inquest, you can assume that Ms Neilson died of natural causes.'

The millionaire heiress died eight years after best friend and fashion designer Alexander McQueen took his own life.

One of her final public appearances was at the wedding of her ex-boyfriend, Lord Edward Spencer-Churchill, at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire where she partied with pal Kate Moss and bride Kimi Hammerstroem.
