President Donald Trump spoke for nearly an hour on Monday night in Columbia at a rally in support of Gov. Henry McMaster, who's in a Republican primary runoff with Greenville businessman John Warren for governor. Trump touched on trade, the "fake news" media and much more. Protesters and supporters clashed in anticipation of the event.

"We will make America wealthy again. We will make America strong again. We will make America safe again, Henry," he said looking to McMaster. "We will make America great again."
Trump - Roar - Tax - Cut - Package
Trump drew a roar when he talked about the tax cut package that passed Congress.
"We've gotten rid of the individual mandate," he said. "We're lifting millions of Americans from welfare to work."
Trump - President - Days - Cheers
Trump said he doesn't believe any president has done "what we have done in 500 days," drawing cheers.
He said the country's air and water are better than it ever has been.
South - Carolina - Business - Numbers - Roof
South Carolina, he said, is doing "unbelievable" in business and the numbers are "through the roof."
Turning to the Middle East, he said the wars were among the worst decisions ever made costing millions of lives and trillions of dollars.

He said NASA is open for business again. He said he wants "rich guys" to do the work.
Trump - Trade - Canada - Europe - Tariffs
Trump talked trade and said Canada and Europe have placed tariffs on American goods.
Last year, the nation lost $817 billion in trade, he said. He said the issue is one of fairness.
"We're the piggy bank they like to take from," he said. "We've been as nice as we can as long as we can. We're going to straighten it out."
