An illegal alien who bit a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer has been sentenced to 12 months in jail.
Honduran national Orvin Omar Reyes-Martinez, 31, bit an ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officer while resisting arrest, ICE reported Tuesday:
ERO - Officers - Apprehension - Struggle - Reyes-Martinez
“Reyes-Martinez fled as ERO officers identified themselves and attempted to arrest him. Following his apprehension, a struggle ensued and Reyes-Martinez bit an officer, drawing blood from the puncture wound.”
Reyes-Martinez had previously been deported and assaulted a law enforcement officer in 2016, ICE reported Wednesday:
